Word Counter for Framer forms

The counter under the field shows how much the visitor has written, for example 12 / 200 words. Set a maximum and, if you like, a minimum. At the maximum the field can either stop further input, or let the visitor keep typing while the counter turns red and the form cannot be sent until the text is shortened.

What your form receives
The full text under the field name you set.
It is part of the native Framer form submission, so it goes wherever your form sends: email, Google Sheets, webhooks, or FramerSend connectors.

Select your form
Select your Form on the Framer canvas.
Insert the field
Open Word Counter and click Insert text area. It is added above the submit button at full width.
Set it up
In the right panel, set the field name, count words or characters, and the limit.
Options

Can it count characters instead of words?
Yes. Choose words or characters in the right panel and set the limit.
What happens at the limit?

Yes. Write your own counter text using {count}, {max}, {min}, {remaining} and {unit}.
Does it slow down my site?
